Carved Through Mature California Hardwoods… BCCC Is One of the Most Enjoyable Golf Courses You Will Ever Play
Fresh of a makeover in 2007, the golf course is in better shape than ever. When the overhaul was complete – the bunkers were better, stone walls and bridges were added to give the course character and the Bent Grass Greens were rolling better than ever before. From the tips the par 72 course plays almost 6,900 and has a rating of 71.6. Under the longtime leadership of Mike Mattingly, BCCC is a friendly club where members can always find a game, get around in less than four hours and play the best golf of their life.

Avoid the creeks on both sides of the fairway on the number one handicap fourth hole, par four which plays 384 from the back tees. These creeks wander through the golf course, add character and can add shots if you’re not careful. Typical for the layout, number four is framed by grand California hardwoods. Bunkers guard an elevated green and a crisp approach is required with a green that slopes away. On the back, the number two handicap is the layout’s second most challenging hole. Trees on the left and right require an accurate tee shot on the 423 yard par four. A small creek guarding the 14th green forces a well struck carried approach. Two pars on these two holes and you’ll be on your way to a solid round of golf.
